I AM CONTACTING YOU IN SUPPORT OF INMATE CLAYTON SERRAO WHO IS CURRENTLY BEING HELD IN THE MARIN COUNTY JAIL.I AM FULLY AWARE OF HIS PAST HISTORY BUT HE HAS MADE GREAT STRIDES TO CORRECT HIS ACTIONS. HE IS TRYING HARD TO RECOVER FROM A LIFE OF DEPENDENCY ON ALCOHOL AS WELL AS HIS ADDICTION TO STEALING. IN HIS DEFENSE, HE HAS MADE GREAT STRIDES TO OVERCOME HIS PROBLEM WITH ALCOHOL AND I FEEL THAT HE IS NO LONGER STEALING AS WELL. I THINK THAT HE HAS FINALLY COME TO REALIZE THAT HE REALLY NEEDS TO MEND HIS WAYS.

you cannot. they have to be issued by the jail or you can put money non their books to buy stamps and envelopes. its so drugs and such cant be brought in through the paper...

Inmates can receive email, but they can't send email back out. The inmate is notified within 24 hours by receiving your email. Your email usually is put under the inmates cell door while they are sleeping and they receive the letter. Your email is printed out on some machine in the meeting room and checked by a deputy to make sure it doesn't contain any nude or revealing pictures or anything the inmates aren't allowed to receive while in custody.
